• Electronics.  Within electronics, my areas of specialty are digital logic and communications systems.
• Mathematics, particularly the mathematics of logic and probability.
• Physics, including the science of fields, waves, energy, and matter.
• Flying. I am one of the founding private investors in Cirrus, a major manufacturer of single engine aircraft.
• Outdoors, including hiking, biking, kayaking, and enjoying nature.
• History of science and technology.
